Bard Engineering was founded in October 2003. Our goal is to set up a company for offshore wind farm development and operation supported by our own production facilities, a company that can serve as an investment instrument to buy and implement offshore wind projects, so that we can cover the entire value-added chain.

We harness new sources of power to ensure sustainable climate protection, provide for a responsible approach to nature and environment, and strengthen the growing independence from energy import. By the beginning of the next decade we plan to become one of the biggest offshore wind farm operators worldwide. The challenges we face are based on our know-how, our own developments and innovative technical solutions. We never compromise on quality and innovation, and develop, build and operate our own WECs accordingly. We commissioned new WEC manufacturing facilities in Emden in 2006. Our Bremen office coordinates the overall production process.
