Today EMB Systems AG is focused 100% on research and development for advanced new braking systems and the improvement of existing electromechanical systems for wind turbines.

An experienced and highly skilled team with combined experience of more than 30 years in electromechanical braking systems understands the requirements of our customers in the field of wind turbines. Large scale projects in Europe, Asia and North America are currently in design.

Our kit contains actually:

• Rotor brakes with 40kN, 100kN and 300kN braking force, continuous adjustment of force over a wide range is possible
• Yaw brakes with 500kN to 1000kN braking force, continuous adjustment of force over a wide range is possible
• Rotor lock systems in various diameters for a wide range of loads.

Our brake systems can easily replace almost all hydraulic brake systems in new or in older existent wind turbines.
