Since its creation in 2004 FINTRY Marine Ltd. has established a strong market presence with shipowners and fleet operators through its regular appearances at international exhibitions,congresses and shows worldwide.

In order to cater for the increasing international demand for our services, in 2008 the FINTRYMarine Group opened a Swiss operation, FINTRY Marine Design AG based in St Gallen Canton, and clearly defined the roles of the two parts of the Group.

The new company in Switzerland is now responsible for project design, development and marketing and shipbuilding coordination, while FINTRY Marine Ltd remains the owner and operator of the Groups own fleet of vessels.

FINTRY Marine Design AG and Kockums AB, part of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS), have 2009 reached an agreement to co-operate in the marketing, design and construction of fast ferry, work and pilot boats build in an innovative carbon fibre reinforced sandwich structure.
