Germany based Hilma-Römheld GmbH is one of the leading experts in die
clamping and efficient die changing in mechanical engineering, in forming
technology and in the plastics and rubber industries. The company, which was
founded in 1947, had a staff of 105 in 2008. It develops, produces and sells
tailored clamping systems and standard fixtures for the cutting and
non-cutting industries on a worldwide basis. Hilma-Römheld GmbH is a member
of the Römheld group, which is represented by sales and service companies in
39 countries worldwide and employs a staff of 580. In 2008, its turnover was
approx. 100 million Euro. Hilma-Römheld GmbH, worldwide one of the leading
providers of industrial clamping and locking systems, has developed a
modular programme of rotor locks for on-shore and off-shore wind turbines
having a rating of up to 6 MW.
