König & Cie. was founded by Tobias König together with two Hamburg-based shipping companies in 1999. Since then it has initiated 41 closed-end funds with a total investment volume of around Euro 1.5 billion. This makes König & Cie. one of today's top 20 KG-financing houses in Germany, and one of the top 10 specialized in KG´s for ships.

In our core business of shipping investment we have attained a leading position. We have also established ourselves with a bright future in the complex field of renewable energies, and with real estate and our first specialised fund for traded endowment policies we have opened up new market segments for König & Cie.

König & Cie. aims to actively participate in the shaping of the growing markets. Together with our investors and partners, we intend to profit from the opportunities, and to profit well.

In the field of regenerative energies König & Cie. began by investing in wind power, today we consider solar power and geothermal power as investments with a future.
