L.E. is not about just selling high performance lubricants - our wind reliability programme goes beyond our Enhanced Gear LubricantsTM or Greases. Our team of trained, experienced consultants offer all our wind industry clients reliability solutions which include:
- automatic lubrication systems for application of grease,
- installation of magnetic filters to check on diminishing wear levels,
- provision of sight glasses for gearboxes so that water contamination can be identified & drained off (due to the excellent water separation ability of L.E. gear oils),
- installation of dessicant breathers to gearboxes in order to absorb water & other airborne contamination.
Importantly L.E. also has its own oil analysis programme - LEAP. This is crucial in allowing us to 'safely' extend the drain intervals of our long life gear lubricants. Such analysis can also identify potential mechanical issues before they become too serious. Other services include the possible changing of mechanical valves and the calibrating of the parameters of the oil cooling system & oil pumps.

Our anti-wear additives DUOLECTM & ALMASOL® are integrated into our two most successful gear lubricants for wind turbine gearboxes - providing outstanding wear protection, long oil life, reduction in temperatures as well as more efficient & powerful gearboxes and bearings. The ALMASOL® anti-wear & QUINPLEX® 'tacky' additives are crucial elements of the ALMAGARD Vari-Purpose Grease that protects wind turbine bearings.
