With "digifast®" the use of the PMTS technology for the measurement of the clamp load in bolted connections is simplified. With the new certified memory method Intellifast GmbH has also solved the difficulties of the traceability on locating components correctly.

In addition to the bar coding of a bolt with a serial number digifast® also permits the storage of bolt relevant data. Part of it is the target clamp load or further useful information, such as the manufacturer's indication on the bolt.

Intellifast GmbH uses a 20-digit standard number converted into a Data Matrix code which is permanently applied to the bolt using a laser method with very good readability. With the help of this code the clamp load of every bolt can be checked.

No earlier documentation of the bolt assembly must therefore be archived on the measurement device. The additional coding of the bolt allows selections of any arbitrary bolt without access to the used and documented data during assembly. A previous check of the assembly is not necessary for an accurate check. For the bolt identification Intellifast GmbH uses customary bar code readers. With this equipment the data on the bolt - if needed - can be transmitted to the measurement device by blue tooth interface. At customer demands Intellifast GmbH also provides combined measuring heads with the bar code unit and the clamp load measurement pin, which is individually adapted to the respective bolt form and assembly situation.
