POSITAL GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of absolute rotary encoders and high precision inclinometers for over 30 years. Today, the company supplies these sensor systems with a variety of communication interfaces such as Profibus-DP, CANopen, SSI, DeviceNet, Bit parallel and Industrial Ethernet. This interface variety makes it comfortable to adapt our sensors to already existing control concept. Moreover, the integrated embedded software provides extended functionality that goes far beyond the output of a position or incline value. Our absolute encoders are available as Single- or Multiturn Encoders (with resolution per revolution up to 16 Bit (65536 steps) and No. of revolutions up to 16384) with a wide variety of mechnical adaptation, with high environmental protection class and Heavy Duty housing.

Our inclinometers allow simultaneous measurement of two axes with single sensor with flexible choice of range and with very high resolution of up to 0,001 degree. The compact and robust industrial housing design with high IP protection guarantees safe outdoor use.
