The companies of eab group with its headquarters in Freiberg/Saxony are going to be restructured under the umbrella companies “eab Projektmanagement GmbH” and “EAB New Energy GmbH”. The goal to be achieved is to concentrate the several business segments in a sustainable manner and to consolidate the companies´ positions for global competitive operations.

“eab Projektmanagement GmbH recognizes its core competences in the development, financing and construction of wind power plants and wind farms”, as its managing director, Dr. Rainer Sack says. After finishing the restructuring process the company sees itself well prepared for the challenges in its target markets – Germany, Poland and Italy.

EAB New Energy GmbH, under the direction of Andreas Lietzmann, will additionally to the development of wind power projects in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and South America focus on the expansion of operations relating to competence centres, decentralized power supply systems as well as photovoltaic projects.

eab group as based in Freiberg/Saxony is specialized in offering all kind of services concerning renewable energy plants such as consulting, planning, turnkey construction, engineering, operating and managing such plants. Initially founded in 1991 as HELIOTEC Energiesysteme GmbH the eab group can nowadays reflect upon the realization of more than 200 wind power plants and the development of multiple photovoltaic plants. The most important markets for the performances offered are Germany, Poland, Italy, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and South America.
