With the purpose of giving more time to those companies interested in participating at the wind power auction, to be carried out on next November, the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Brazil (MME) announced that the registration deadline has been postponed.

The new deadline for the inscription and registration to the wind power auction, ahead the Energy Research Company “Empresa de Pesquisa Energética” (EPE) agency in charge of this process, was set for next June 29, 2009.
