The MX213/W processor module is the first model of an entire series and can be used for temperature ranges from -40°C to +70°C.A match for any climate

Bachmann M1 automation system from Bachmann electronic with condensation proof electronics

Where most manufacturers guarantee electronics to operate according to specifications in a non-condensing environment, Bachmann electronic is now going one step further: A new process enables the safe operation of the M1 automation system even when condensation is present. The coldclimate modules of Bachmann electronic are the solution for all applications in demanding climatic conditions.

A special preparation of the circuit boards in the coldclimate modules enables the effects of electromigration to be prevented during operation after condensation. For this a nonporous and transparent polymer film is applied to the module in a vacuum by means of a condensation process from the gaseous phase. The vapor deposition enables this material to reach zones and structures that could not be coated with fluid-based processes. Furthermore, the coldclimate modules are useable for an extended temperature range from -40°C to +70°C. The use of a switchgear cabinet cooling system is thus mostly unnecessary.
