The company Woodward SEG GmbH & Co. KG from Kempen, Germany establishes with its intelligent control device in the CONCYCLE® Wind frequency converters the precondition to fulfill all the current grid code requirements worldwide for doubly-fed induction generator systems.
Woodward SEG with the CONCYCLE® technology for doubly-fed induction generators enables its customers to perform the increased dynamic behavior requirements according to the new German bonus system “SDLWindV” in case of grid failure. Test results of by independent certification institutes support this.

In cooperation with VEM Sachsenwerke GmbH from Dresden, Woodward SEG is currently developing a full-size converter. The company’s 15-year-experience in converter technology will be used to also serve the market for wind energy applications with permanent magnetic synchronous generators coupled with a gearbox, in the future.

New and modern production facilities of Woodward in the US and in China guarantee availability of the reliable CONCYCLE® converter systems in the growing markets.
