Wind Energy Profile

Rising energy consumption and handling resources and the environment with care- how can we solve this conflict? For a sustainable energy supply we need alternative solutions for the extraction of limited fossil resources and rising CO₂-emissions. PROKON focuses on eco-friendly, forward-looking and responsible technologies in the wind energy and biofuels sector. Not only does the environment benefit but also investors of PROKON’s ecological capital investments who profit from currently 8 % interest per year.

Wind Energy

Wind energy is the core business of the PROKON GROUP. In Germany PROKON is one of the leading companies for project development, implementation, financing and operating of wind farms with more than 15 years experience. PROKON has carried out an investment with a volume of 600 million Euro and has established 32 wind farms with a total of 234 wind turbines in Germany.

Capital Investment

Because we do believe that not only a selected group of people but everyone should have the possibility to benefit from investments in renewable energy, in 2003 PROKON was the first of the sector in Germany to issue financial investment as flexible and uncomplicated as a savings account. 8 % interest per year is paying off for over 26.000 customers now.

Biofuels

The Biofuels division includes the production and distribution of fuels from renewable resources but also retrofitting of vehicles. In Germany PROKON has retrofitted more than 2.000 vehicles for operation with environmentally-friendly fuels. For smooth supply, we are expanding our nation-wide PROKON OIL service station network. Moreover PROKON is involved in the production of biofuels from Jatropha oil in eastern Tanzania, Africa.
