PRÜFTECHNIK Condition Monitoring GmbH developed the VIBROWEB® XP
online monitoring system specifically for wind turbine condition
monitoring. The system has been certified by Germanische Lloyd (GL)
Wind. PRÜFTECHNIK offers system support services in its GL-certified
Monitoring Center that include the installation and startup of
condition monitoring systems, a telediagnosis service with remote
monitoring and consulting.
VIBROWEB® XP belongs to the product group of diagnostic online
condition monitoring systems. It is an easy-to-install, compact unit
that operates autonomously without a PC. Up to eight accelerometers of
the ICP or current line drive type, two inductive displacement
sensors, two rpm sensors and three process signals (0/4-20 mA) can be
connected to the device. As an intelligent diagnosis robot, the system
recognizes the different operating states of a wind turbine and
automatically adapts how it records and evaluates the measurement
data. In this way, for example, the condition of individual components
can be monitored in specific operating situations to make reliable
predictions on their future development. In the event of an alarm,
VIBROWEB® XP immediately sends out an eMail or SMS. The Ethernet, a
modem or wireless transmission can be used to transmit measurement
data or enable remote access or remote control. Data are evaluated and
archived using the OMNITREND PC software. When monitoring wind farms,
the eMail function is used to transmit data at regular
intervals. Measurement data are automatically filed in the diagnosis
center database and are readily available for evaluation.
