Originally known as manufacturer of tools and cutlery, construction
engineers of Richard Abraham Herder KG developed in the fifties the first
automatic torque wrench, the so-called DREMOMETER. This invention was the
first step towards the manufacture of precision measuring tools. Through
long-years experience in the development, production and marketing of a
comprehensive assortment the company also known by the name RAHSOL DREMOTEC,
apart from itself-owned English subsidiary TORQUELEADER, is among the
worldwide leading specialist in the field of torque.
Apart from torque
wrenches also electronic set analysers, torque multipliers, test unit
software, ends sizing installations as well as repair services (according to
DIN EN ISO 6789 or DKD-guidelines) are among the range of products and
services offered. For the measured variable of torque, the company was
accredited by the federal physical-technical institute "Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt" in Braunschweig and authorised to execute
calibrations on the highest level. In the in-house stamp shop, upset and
forges parts are produced for the automobile industry, steel construction
and for the firm's own continual processing. The certification according to
DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1996 proves the high level of consciousness in terms
of quality of the company's employees. Individual customer orientation is
the prime company target. Since 1972, the company RAHSOL DREMOTEC is a 100
percent subsidiary of the GEDORE tool factory in Remscheid and thus is part
of a strong group of tool specialists.
