Every person who has to handle pipe segments knows which time-consuming and difficult work is involved for turning and assembling these heavy components.

For this purpose, the Swabian chain experts have converted high-tensile and tempered sling- and lashing points (lifting eyes) out of the most comprehensive sling- and lashing points program world wide into a special construction. By means of the construction weighing only approx. 40 kilos and having an overall SWL of 20 tons with a 4fold safety versus failure, pipe segments weighing up to 70 kilos can be lifted, erected and mounted. This special lifting point can be used for flange widths from 50 mm up to 125 mm.

For this purpose, 100% crack detected RUD special bolts and nuts having special corrosion protections are used. Another particularity being that different bore distances can be compensated and lateral forces safely be transferred by means of a patented teethed profile. This offers to the user the unbeatable advantage that by only one device, all hole variants can be covered. The tilting range of the tempered eye is 270° resulting in a gentle turning.

Expensive special designs being hard to handle can be replaced by this unique special construction.
