Since its formation in 2007, SSB Service GmbH has established itself as the leading, independent provider of WTGS services. The company with registered office in Rheine, Germany, currently has 144 employees in Germany, Holland, Spain and the USA.
SSB Service´s extensive portfolio ranges from remote monitoring, maintenance, repairs and a spare parts service for WTGS – incl. major components – up to optimisation of products and training, in order to meet the demand for highly qualified personnel.

The advantages of SSB Service´s remote monitoring are not only its high level of availability, 24 hours, seven days a week but, in particular, its laid down, certified processes ensuring the quick remedying of WTGS faults.

At the same time, highly qualified members of staff with considerable experience in the wind energy sector, focus on fault finding and analysis, in order to achieve a sustained availability and thus profitability of WTGS. Regional proximity: local service teams The local service of the company is based around highly trained service teams, located in the region of the WTGS sites. This guarantees quick response times and quick on-site assistance. The regional proximity of the service teams is also of considerable advantage for planning inspections, servicing and preventive maintenance.
Prevention: Inspection of rotor blades The range of services offered by SSB Service also includes a preventive rotor blade inspection approved by TÜV and certified according to EN 1808, in order to prevent costly repairs or even the full replacement of rotor blades. These inspections, offered for any type of turbine and hub height are always carried out by highly qualified employees with longstanding experience in the areas of rotor blade production, maintenance and repair.
Future-proof: Certified quality SSB Service is the first independent WTGS service provider certified by Germanischer Lloyd in the areas of qualification of personnel, fault and repair processes, maintenance strategies as well as the monitoring, execution, analysis and documentation of on-site work.
SSB Service is currently consistently extending its presence in the wind energy sector. This is demonstrated by the new Competence Center in Norderstedt near Hamburg, where SSB Service focuses its services know-how for Vestas turbines.
