As a pioneer in wind energy, we have been developing drive and control systems for WTGs since 1990. In the process, we have become a system partner for numerous WTG manufacturers and have gained a great deal of experience in all aspects of wind energy. As a division of Emerson, the world market leader in industrial automation, we will continue resolutely on our path. This will open up completely new opportunities for you and for us. For example, in the further development of products which will increase both the availability and the economic efficiency of WTGs.

Everything under perfect control: Our pitch systems.

From pitch drives to Multi Pitch Controller (MPC), a new drive controller for electrical blade pitching – our range of products is as comprehensive as a pitch system. Not only do we consider pitch systems as a whole but we also develop and build them. This level of hands-on production know-how guarantees the highest quality and availability of pitch systems for both AC and DC drives. We construct and manufacture them ourselves based on customer requirements for performance, size and design, as well as with regard axis and central pitch controller cabinets, whose housing we develop and build, including component parts and cabling. This gives rise to customized solutions, which nevertheless have one thing in common: All of our pitch systems are designed with triple redundancy and can be used as a primary brake without any compromises. Incidentally, this currently applies to more than 17,500 pitch systems worldwide.

Where ideas have space: Switch and control cabinets.

Job order production or individually planned, built and developed: Axis and central pitch controller cabinets, top and tower boxes, as well as special solutions such as portable hub simulation boxes and customer-specific solutions are manufactured in continuous production at our 161,458 sq ft. production site. At our Salzbergen site alone we manufacture up to 1,500 control cabinets a year. Up to 500 units are also produced for the Asian market in Qingdao in China.
