The Aero range from Tentec comprises bolt tensioning tools suitable for a complete wind turbine bolting installation or maintenance programme on many different types and models of wind turbines. By listening to customer requirements these feature rich, powerful bolt tensioning tools are packed full of operator requested features including quick release swivel fittings, automatic piston reset and intuitive operation and the new unique, full load, positive stop safety feature. The products are manufactured from aircraft quality high-strength tensile steel and are compact and lightweight for ease of handling.

The WTB is a multi-purpose tool suitable for a range of bolting applications. The latest addition to the WTB tools is a new, compact tensioning tool for blade and bearing applications. It is ideal where height restrictions mean that the existing ‘double deck’ bolt tensioners cannot be used.

WTF Foundation tools are designed to handle a range of All Thread Bars including the more conventional ISO metric and Imperial Unified Thread forms. The range has recently been expanded with the addition of a new tool with a load capacity for tensioning 150ksi Rebar Threaded bars.

As the industry standard is moving towards these “double-strengthö rebar bolts, Tentec offers versatile foundation tensioners that can be used with both 75 ksi and 150ksi fasteners. As with the new WTB tools, the unique positive stop overstroke protection is incorporated to prevent seal damage and injury to site personnel.

As well as the range bolt tensioning tools for wind turbines, Tentec offers a choice of electric driven high pressure pump units that can generate pressures of up to 2000 bar.
