We support your project from planning, construction and grid connection to maintenance and servicing during operation, providing testing and certification services. We also assist you with all issues required by banks, investors, energy suppliers and the authorities.
TÜV SÜD is a certification body for offshore wind farms approved by the German Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie, BSH). In addition to the above, we are accredited at international level as a certification body for onshore and offshore wind turbines and their components (EN 45011) and as a testing laboratory for wind speed measurements, site-specific wind-speed measurements and calculation of energy yield, measurement of extreme winds and turbulence, shadow flicker and noise emissions (EN ISO/IEC 17025).
We work in accordance with the following national and international standards: IEC 61400 “Wind Turbines“; GL Guidelines for the Certification of Wind Turbines; DIBt “Guideline for Wind Turbines“; NVN 11400 “Wind Turbines“; Danish Executive Order no. 651 “Technical Certification Scheme for the Design, Manufacture, Installation, Maintenance and Service of Wind Turbines“; MNRE India “TAPS-2000 Type Approval – Provisional Scheme“. Apart from the above, we take all relevant standards required for the design of offshore wind farms into consideration.
