To suit or customers requirements different sensor technologies apply for the following product lines:
- Electro-optical single turn and multi turn encoders, featuring resolutions up to 16 Bit/360° with parallel, SSI, PROFIBUS, InterBus, CANopen and DeviceNet interfaces.
- Electro-magnetic miniature encoders with absolute, incremental and sine-cosine outputs, featuring contactless sensor elements free of wear. Robust two-chamber system for protection grades up to IP 69K, in stainless steel.
- Electro-magnetic incremental encoders for heavy duty application and with resolutions up to 10000 counts per revolution.
- Inductive half-bridges and LVDT's with integral electronics or for external excitation, for strokes up to 360 mm. With A/D-converter: programmable, SSI or CANopen.
- Conductive plastic potentiometers featuring infinite resolution and long life for strokes up to 1000 mm.
- Magnetostrictive displacement transducers for strokes up to 7600 mm, with analogue or digital interfaces: SSI, PROFIBUS or CANopen.
- Programmable position indicators both with analogue and digital input circuits.
Application fields are all kinds of machinery and engineering plants such as wind energy devices, steel mills, textile machines, paper and packing machines, power plants, transportation and conveying equipment, navigation devices as well as measuring and analytical instrumentation.
The list of customers includes many companies with international extension. TWK products are exported to a great number of countries within Europe and overseas
The annual turnover is in the range to 10 million EURO, including 20 % export sales.
