Wind Energy Profile

WeserWind GmbH Offshore Construction Georgsmarienhütte is a subsidiary of the Georgsmarienhütte group located in Bremerhaven.

We are a rapidly expanding enterprise focusing on the design, construction and installation of special foundation structures for the offshore wind energy sector. Our product line comprises jacket-, tripod- and monopile structures as well as complete metmast systems and transformer stations.

Synergy effects resulting from the extensive network within our group of companies as well as strong partnerships within the construction and special pipe construction sector are the basis for efficient manufacturing processes with high quality standards. This comprehensive approach is being supported by close co-operations with planning companies, research institutes, auditing and insurance companies.

Our manufacturing site located in the fishery harbour of Bremerhaven is under construction and comprises 45.000 m² of production plant as well as 70.000 m² of storage sites. Simultaneously, the serial production of tripod substructures on the open space of the production site is kicked off in November 2008.
